Women have been a part of bronc riding since the late 1800's, competing in early rodeos and proving their skill alongside the men. Legends like Fanny Sperry Steele, Lucille Mulhall, and Bonnie McCarroll set records, rode the rankest horses, and helped shape the sport. Though women's events faded, the spirit and determination of those early riders never disappeared.
The WRBC exists to help female athletes of all ages and backgrounds pursue and achieve their ranch bronc riding goals. This commitment drives the internationally recognized Trail to Cheyenne Tour, a growing global stage that celebrates rising talent and honors the history of the sport.
The WRBC has been a crowd favorite at some of the largest rodeo stages in the world. Cheyenne Frontier Days, Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo, Calgary Stampede, and now the West Texas Ranch Rodeo.
